UNILAG/MAULAG STUDENTS PROTEST IS A YEAR TODAY

 

I believe every Nigerian even the entire world,but most especially every student of Unilag, the entire Unilag Community and Lagosians who live or work on the island will not forget in a hurry, the ugly, funny, action packed but peaceful protest by we; The students of the EVER GREATEST,  RESPECTED, RECOGNISED AND PRESTIGIOUS ((((((UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS)))))) UNILAG as  popularly called by the people.

                       

I was even still in bed in my hostel room of Biobaku,, one of the male hostels on campus, to hear the noise of my hostel members. Shouting on top of the voices, Saying: "it is impossible" "how come" "No" and so on.

Following the individual negation and rejection of every student towards the funny opinion of Mr. President to rename the institution, a peaceful but action packed protest started from every hostel on campus.

I respected the bravery act of every student of my dear institution, (both male and female) including my self, for being part of the peaceful and action packed protest to restore the name of our PRESTIGIOUS UNILAG. GOD BLESS US ALL.

I also commend the efforts of students, Lecturers and VICE- CHANCELLORS of other Universities, Human right activists, the entire UNILAG community, Lagosians, Nigerians and the world at the large for their support in restoring the prestigious name of our dear UNILAG.
