Anambra State University Named After Odumegwu Ojukwu

Anambra State University, Uli has been named after late biafran leader and the former military governor of the Eastern Region, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, announced the renaming of the University in a live broadcast on Anambra Broadcasting Service Television ABStv on Friday  1st of November 2013. The governor said the university was being renamed in celebration of Ojukwu'sposthumous 80th birthday.

Late Ojukwu died on November 26, 2011 at the age of 78.

**Good for them, how does that affect us, has the renaming resolved the ongoing ASUU strike? Get me right, so that you wouldn't say what's this Tayo Lawal saying. I don't have anything against Chief Ojukwu, he's indeed worth celebrating. Am only worried about the recalcitrant attitude of Nigerian Government at all levels, found of making three right turns instead of the one left, always love making a circuitous route out of every journey.. smh..

All hail UNILAG jare *we no get time for bullshit..U know what I mean now, shhhh! d Maulag stuff.
