Women U-20 World Cup: Nigeria's Asisat Oshoala wins Best Player

Asisat Oshoala of the Nigeria's Falconet has been awarded the Most Valuable Player/Best Player at the just concluded 2014 FIFA U-20 women's World Cup in Canada. The Falconets were defeated by a lone goal by their German counterparts in the Final match of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup played in Montreal, Canada earlier this morning.

She was awarded the Golden Ball award and Golden Boot having scored seven goals and two assists.

Griedge Mbock-Bathy of France was awarded the Silver Ball while her compatriot Claire Lavogez won the Bronze Ball.

Kudos to our super girls. Even without winning the trophy, they gave their very best and We are so proud of them.
