Dele Momodu is the next Ooni of Ife - Pastor prophesies

There has been speculations about who will be the next Ooni of Ife since the burial rites of the late monarch, Oba Okunade Sijuwade have been completed.

A Nigerian pastor named Paul, from Imo State has prophesied that media mogul, Dele Momodu will be the new Ooni of Ife.

In an interview with PM News CEO, Bayo Onanuga, Paul made the declaration, further stating, “If the Ife people refuse to crown Momodu, there will be bloodshed.”

However, Onanuga discredited Paul’s prediction, stating “Although Dele Momodu was born in Ife, his connection is as near as Gbongan and as far as somewhere in Edo State.”

According to the report, “in 1986, Momodu served the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, managing the Motel Royal Limited owned by the monarch.”
