Sad! Unilag female student killed by high tension wire on campus

A 300 level female student of Accounting department in Unilag, Aniekwe Oluchi (pictures here) was last night Tuesday 8th of September, killed by an high tension cable on campus. The ugly incident occurred in front of the popular 'New Hall' area of the campus.

According to eye witness, the electric cable fell on her while walking in front of the New Hall bus stop. Though, she was immediately rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH but she passed on before reaching the hospital.

So sad! May her soul rest in peace.

Am using this platform to appeal to the Unilag management to please check on those electric cables on campus. I witnessed a terrible electric spark around that same 'new hall' the last time I was on campus. This thing has been occurring repeatedly. Don't wait until things get worse before acting. So sad we lost a soul already. UNILAG Management Please Act!!!!!
