According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the victorious Eaglets will return home aboard an Emirates Airline flight. After defeating Mali 2-0 yesterday at the final, the U-17 World Champions flew out of Santiago yesterday to Buenos Aires, from where they will connect a flight to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
They will spend tonight in Dubai, before embarking on the triumphant journey to Abuja tomorrow, where an elaborate red carpet will be laid by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) while what awaits the record breaking champions in Abuja is left to be imagined
