P.L.A.Y forum clarifies Olajumoke’s motivational speaking role

All hell was let loose on Nigerian social media platforms yesterday afternoon, when a banner informing that bread seller turned model, Olajumoke Orisaguna, would be a motivational speaker at the second version of The P.L.A.Y. (Political Management Amongst Youths) event scheduled for Saturday February 20th in Abuja, surfaced online.
The people argued why Olajumoke, who came into limelight as a result of stumbling into TY Bello’s photo-shoot of British rapper, Tinie Tempah a few weeks ago, would be serving as motivational speaker.

Following the online drama, Chief Executive Officer of P.L.A.Y Forum, Charles Okpaleke has set the records straight in a conversation with YNaija, regarding Olajumoke’s participation in the event tagged: ‘If we were the government’.

He stated that, during the event - which will have Ondo governor, Olusegun Mimiko as the guest speaker- an inspirational interview would be conducted with Olajumoke Orisaguna, titled - A grass to grace story.

Okpaleke further stressed that contrary to widespread assumption, Olajumoke won’t be serving as a motivational speaker, but would feature in the event through the inspirational interview.

The anchor of the event is Nollywood actor, Ramsey Nouah while the moderators are actress, Kate Henshaw and co-founde Red Media Africa, Adebola Williams.
