The governor said he would not only offer the distinction students, employments, he would also sponsor them to further their studies.
Amosun also disclosed that the state government in conjuction with the governing council has approached the National University Commission with a view to making the Polytechnic a degree-awarding institution.
The governor who was an alumnus of the Polytechnic further pledged that he would build hostels in memory of his parents. According to him, those ones that made distinction, if you let me know their numbers, not only will we give them automatic employment, those that want to further their studies which I will encourage, we will be ready to see what we can do.
