FRSC urges motorists to be more cautious during the festive period

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has advised motorists to exercise patience while driving during the festive period. In an interview with NAN, Umaru Abdullahi urged motorists to avoid accidents, during the Eld-el-Fitr celebration, by exercising patience and caution on highways.

The new FRSC Ore Unit Commander spoke on the importance of obeying traffic rules, adding that erring motorists will be arrested.

"There is always heavy vehicular movement, especially during festivals and celebrations, this is why we are urging motorists to exercise patience and caution during this Sallah celebration.
Motorists should know that there is no second chance when accidents happen, so they should take necessary precautions to save lives and property", he advised.
