Husband of woman severely injured after teenagers dropped rock onto moving car kills himself

The 55 year old husband of a woman who was permanently disfigured when a group of teenagers dropped a rock onto her moving car has reportedly taken his own life. Randy Budd was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home late on Saturday, medical examiner officials said.

His wife Sharon was severely injured when she was struck in the face by a large rock that smashed through her windscreen as she and her family drove on Interstate 80 in Union County, Pennsylvania, in July 2014.

Union County District Attorney D. Peter Johnson told pennlive.com: "Randy Budd did not die from a gunshot. "He died when those kids threw a rock through his windshield. They killed him like they killed her."
