The robbers gained access to the office by scaling the fence at around 3.30 a.m. They then tied the security man on duty before carrying out their nefarious operations. NAN reports that among the items stolen were its official camera, a Nikon D300, three HP laptops, two digital cameras, a voice recorder and many other personal effects of some staff.
The Zonal Manager, Ephraims Sheyin, described it as “very shocking”. “It is very sad and shocking; very devastating, really,’’ Mr. Sheyin said. The matter was reported to the Anglo-Jos Police Division which swiftly sent an investigating officer to the scene.
